Hirschvogel separates from its plant in Columbus/Ohio, USA
The Hirschvogel Group, headquartered in Germany, is a global supplier in the automotive sector with nine plants on three continents. The company is now separating from Hirschvogel Incorporated in Columbus/Ohio (USA), which was founded in 1988 and has been struggling with losses for a long time. In future, the global player will serve the North American automotive market via its other production sites, primarily via Mexico and India.

The new owner of the plant in the US is Walor, part of the FerrAl United Group and ultimately controlled by Mutares. The 320 employees of Hirschvogel Incorporated will be taken on by the buyer.
