In the chassis, high-strength yet lightweight components are required to reduce unsprung masses. For this purpose, Hirschvogel offers, among other things, aluminum steering knuckles and wheel carriers as well as weight-reduced wheel bearing and suspension parts. 

The car body is decisive for vehicle safety. Forgings have high ductility and fatigue strength, and are therefore favored in crash-relevant areas and for connecting subframes to the car body. Hirschvogel produces various structural components made of steel and aluminum for such applications.
