Drive systems for micromobility – From e-bikes to light electric vehicles
Micromobility is still a young market with growth potential. Particularly when it comes to individual and delivery traffic in an urban setting, e-bikes as well as small and light electric vehicles can help in making mobility more sustainable. However, to achieve increasing acceptance and widespread use of such vehicles, they need to be robust and affordable.
Under the brand name AXIMO, Hirschvogel develops and produces a modular system of relevant components for cost-efficiently implementing micromobility vehicle concepts – from e-bikes to L7e vehicles. The team behind the Micromobility Business Unit works independently and in an agile way, always in close collaboration with the vehicle manufacturers, while at the same time benefiting from the industrialization expertise of the Hirschvogel Group as the parent company. Read more about the first AXIMO series products, their advantages, their market launch, and gain insights into the production thereof in our article that featured in the September issue of ATZ.
